2 Listen to my prayer.[a]
Pay attention[b] to my cry for help.
3 For my life[c] is filled with troubles,
and I am ready to enter Sheol.[d]
4 They treat me like[e] those who descend into the grave.[f]
I am like a helpless man,[g]
